our day of fun.

Me and one of my best friends went into town today, and she showed me this little vintage shop that her mum had found. It was full of unique treasures from elegant evening dresses and prom dresses to reworked shorts and leather gilets. I liked how it was arranged with books and posters on the walls, with shoes too. It was great to explore and my friend even tried on the red 1960s prom dress, it looked fab!

a little find.

Just a quick post, showing a great little find i picked up at a local charity shop. Its a tan little purse, with note pad and mirror inside. i was surprised as i saw so many great things like a velvet long chain bag, moccasins and some big black biker boots.

vintage happenings

Whilst wondering through town yesterday i went into one of favourite little shops that has no name. Its one of those really cute vintage shops that just seems to store every bit and bob by not going too charity shop. Anyway looking around i noticed for the first time that it had an upstairs and he had a really mix of things. And in the corner of the room out came these vintage canvases,

which reminded very much of my 'Vintage Inspired' art topic that i have basically finished with just a few finishing touches to development and the final piece so i thought i would share you a few pages.
